Our Story
It starts with two high school friends, Lester and Zachary – ok, not “high school” high school; more like they both worked at a local high school at the same time and eventually became close friends. Over the years they spent many a night right here at this very bar – dishing the dirt, sharing the highs, lamenting the lows, laughing the laughs, singing the songs, but mostly, genuinely, enjoying the company of many good friends who felt more like family.
They often talked about what they would do if they ever opened their own place.

In May of 2024 the previous owner of this, their favorite establishment decided it was time to move on. Zachary and Lester saw their chance. Well…to be fair…Zach saw it first, convinced his dad (our Bar-Dad Brett) that it was possible and a few weeks and a quick “we’re in” text later and Lester was on board. They were convinced they could create a fresh, re-invented tavern type bar for like-minded, hardworking, fun seeking, chill people to just go and “be”. Be relaxed. Be happy. Be social. Be entertained. Be a regular.

With the help of Brett our amazing bar-dad, Joe our patron saint, our supportive spouses and a truly dedicated team of friends later “The Mill” is now open for business. Please be patient with our patriarchs as they learn the subtle art of slinging a drink, tossing out a lame dad joke to no acclaim and belting out all the wrong lines to your favorite tunes – this is, after all, their dream.
